- Description
The icing on the cake is sometimes the special color scheme. Here, Paul Smith has put his hand to a design classic and refined the Anglepoise Type 75 task light with his color schemes. You can now admire Paul Smith's handling of the lamp in four different editions and choose your favorite. Edition one focuses on summer colors, while edition two plays with autumnal, rich tones. In edition three, Paul Smith has taken inspiration from the De Stijl style of the Dutch painter Mondrian and in edition four, he recalls his former color design for the Land Rover Defender. The colors of the British landscape play the main role here: earthy burgundy red, leaden grey, sky blue and mottled green. There is also a surprising hint of fluorescent yellow. A colorful counterpoint by Paul Smith, who is known for his mastery of color.
Sir Paul Smith is one of the most important British fashion designers and is world-famous above all for his colorful striped patterns. In addition to his fashion designs for men and women, he also repeatedly causes a stir with product designs resulting from collaborations with established brands such as Caran D'Ache and Mini.
