Aslan's DK films are available in two versions, DK3 and DK4, which differ not only in terms of adhesive strength: Both films have two sides with different adhesive strengths - the side covered with silicone paper has an adhesive with delayed initial adhesion, which also allows corrections to be made during lamination. • of the DK3 is equipped with a particularly strong adhesive film and is therefore also suitable for lamination on rough surfaces such as MDF, chipboard and fabrics. The initial adhesion of the side covered with paper is approx. 4 N, after one week approx. 10 N. On the film side, the initial adhesion is approx. 10 N, but increases to approx. 20 N after one week.
• The DK4 is equipped with a special adhesive film which ensures that the film can be removed from all smooth surfaces without any problems even after weeks or months. The initial adhesion of the side covered with paper is approx. 2.5 N, after one week approx. 4 N. The initial adhesion of the side covered with film is approx. 1.5 N, but also increases to approx. 4 N after one week. Although the adhesive strength is approximately the same after one week, the side covered with film remains easier to remove in the longer term.

In addition to conventional applications (removable mounting or self-adhesive mounting of posters, maps, plans, fabrics, etc.), DK4 is very well suited for fixing materials on milling tables due to its one-sided removability.

The manufacturer recommends a minimum temperature of 15 °C for processing the film. When bonded, the films are temperature-resistant from -30 °C to +80 °C.
