- Description
Dichroic surfaces appear in different colors depending on the viewing angle. So if you walk past a shop window covered with this type of dichroic adhesive film, for example, you will see the same surface in different colors. This is quite a spectacular effect and is therefore ideal for anything that needs to be an eye-catcher. The adhesive tapes are made from just such a film. We have the tapes cut to size and wound into five-meter tapes.
It is important to note that the adhesive tape should only be applied to smooth, firm and even surfaces, as it is not particularly stretchy. When bonding to acrylic glass, gas bubbles can form under the adhesive tape if the acrylic glass is not tempered. In this case, the acrylic glass may outgas if the ambient temperature rises.
The opaque adhesive tapes are available in four color variants. Aslan calls these variants "Plasma", "Andromeda", "Alpha" and "Aurora". These are the color changes from dark blue to green (Plasma), from copper to green (Andromeda), from magenta to yellow (Alpha) and from pink to light blue (Aurora). When gluing, make sure that you glue the ribbons next to each other in the same direction. Otherwise the color changes will not be homogeneous or parallel when viewed.
