The Ecobra Dual Lever/Roller Cutter combines two cutting systems in one machine: On one side, you work with a lever cutter; on the other, with a roller cutter. To switch between them, simply flip the machine over. This allows you to make both straight cuts with higher cutting performance and various cut shapes without having to keep two separate cutters on hand. The maximum cutting length is 330 mm, making the machine particularly well-suited for working with DIN A4 sizes. You can use the machine to cut paper, cardstock, plastic film, laminating film, and photo paper.
The lever-action cutter cuts material up to 1.0 mm thick or up to ten sheets of 80 g/m² paper. A cutting safety mechanism with a paper lock secures the material during the lever cut. The cutting lever handle can be extended and retracted, saving space when storing the machine. On the rotary cutter side, there are three blades integrated into the cutting head: free-form cut, perforation cut, and wave cut. The desired cut type can be selected directly on the cutting head. For free-form cutting, the maximum cutting height is 0.5 mm or five sheets of 80-g paper; perforation and wave cuts are each designed for up to 0.3 mm and three sheets, respectively.
The device offers a few extras: It features a built-in corner rounder that lets you round the corners of individual sheets of paper. In addition, the base plate is printed, making positioning and measuring easier: It includes markings for DIN and photo formats as well as angle, inch, and CD-cover formats. An integrated carrying handle makes it easy to transport the 2.28 kg machine. Accessories for the paper cutter include both a replacement cutting head with the three cutting modes and a replacement cutting strip. By the way, you can use the cutting strip four times before it needs to be replaced.
