The strength of a mechanical pencil compared to a classic pencil is its constant lead width. Without sharpening, you have almost unlimited access to the same line width. This is an enormous advantage for technical drawing, for example. The Grip 1347 mechanical pencil from Faber Castell is very comfortable to hold, is suitable for both left and right-handers and allows you to work with it for a long time. If you want to correct a line, you can use the twist-out, unusually long eraser, which you can also replace when worn.
The lead is spring-mounted in a specially designed guide to protect it as well as possible from breaking. Once you have finished your work, the lead can be fully retracted into the guide. This keeps it safe during transportation and you can enjoy it for a long time.
