The Grip Plus is designed more for writing than for drawing. It is forwardly weighted, the lead is soft and somewhat thicker and spring mounted; the grip is soft, thicker and ergonomically triangular; the pencil glides wonderfully over the paper. The eraser is always at hand and especially large, which means that it will probably not be used up or broken when you really need it! And lastly, the Grip Plus has a solid lead guide at the tip that remains straight even if the pencil is treated roughly. There is also a matching mate for this pencil called the FABER-CASTELL GRIP PLUS BALL BALLPOINT PEN.
