The most common tool for punching holes in materials is certainly (still) the standard punch with which we prepare paper documents to be filed for the way into the folder. But if the hole is not supposed to be six millimeters in diameter or the material is a bit thicker, you need a punch. And so that you do not have to buy each hole diameter separately, there is this set.

Always use a punch on a stable surface that is as smooth and even as possible and on which cutting marks are no problem. A wooden material, a firm cardboard or a cutting mat are suitable for this. Position the punch so that the entire cutting circle rests on the material to be punched and then punch the hole out of the material, preferably with a single sensitive hammer blow on the end of the punch. The amount of force used (the force of the blow) depends on the nature of the material.
