Since, as with the capital letter L, both the legs of the steel brackets and the height/depth of the two sheets floor/wall do not have the same dimensions, you can choose when assembling whether the shelf should project further or whether it should extend higher on the wall. So, when assembling, you determine which sheet will be the bottom and which one will be the back wall.

The load capacity of the steel shelf itself is very high for both assembly variants, despite the length. It results from the relatively high sheet thickness and the solid construction. However, the prerequisite for a large load from applied weight such as books in a wall shelf is also the load-bearing capacity of the connection to the wall. The wall shelf L is held to the wall with six screws. In order for these to hold reliably, they usually have to be screwed into dowels selected to match the wall material. Neither dowels nor screws for wall mounting are part of the delivery, because we do not know on which wall you want to mount the wall shelf L.
