Natural cork sheets can be used in model making, as a sealing material or for surface design. They are also ideal for creative projects and handicrafts due to their ease of processing.
The natural cork sheets are easy to cut and process. You can cut them into the desired shape using a scalpel or cutter knife. Adhesives such as wood glue, all-purpose glue or spray glue are suitable for bonding.
Natural cork is obtained by harvesting the bark of the cork oak without damaging the tree. This process is sustainable, as the bark grows back and can be harvested again every 9 to 12 years. Pressed cork that is bound with PU adhesive should be disposed of with residual waste as it is not fully biodegradable.
