Opinel's No. 07 pocket knife has impressed as a practical everyday accessory for more than 120 years. Inspired by a Turkish saber, the Yatagan blade is made of martensitic stainless steel, which has a high corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The blade can be used for a long period of time before re-sharpening is necessary. When not in use, you can store it in the handle. The Virobloc system ensures that it does not open unintentionally. If, on the other hand, the blade is in use, the system's ring ensures your safety. It provides the blade with the necessary hold.
The handle of the pocket knife is made of fine-pored beech wood. It is lacquered to protect it from moisture and dirt. The leather loop at the end of the handle allows you to attach your Opinel No. 08 to your belt or keychain.
