The Sakura Quickie Glue glue stick essentially writes with liquid glue. You can use it to apply glue to paper with precision, much like a rollerball pen. The fine roller tip, with a line width of 0.6 mm, is particularly well-suited for small bonding areas, narrow lines, and delicate elements where conventional liquid glue is difficult to apply precisely. You can also control the amount of glue dispensed by adjusting your application speed: moving more slowly leaves more glue on the surface, while moving faster leaves less.
When applied, the water-based adhesive is blue. This makes it easy to see where you’ve already applied adhesive. As it dries, the color disappears and the adhesive becomes colorless and transparent. The glue stick can be used to create both removable and permanent bonds: For a permanent bond, join the parts together while the glue is still wet and blue. If you want the bond to remain removable, let the glue dry first and then join the parts together.
Quickie Glue is especially useful for creative projects involving paper. For example, you can use it to attach small paper pieces to scrapbooks and collages, design cards, or apply fine lines of glue for glitter. Because the glue is applied via a roller tip, you don’t need to squeeze or shake the pen, and you can apply the glue very evenly. This makes it easier to work with precision on small details and reduces excess glue in areas where only a narrow line of glue is needed.
