The Sminx Smart Strings Multi-Band Extra Long is a length-adjustable lanyard to which you can attach your smartphone, keys, fanny pack, or pen holder using the appropriate accessories. This keeps the items you regularly need while on the go close to your body and within easy reach, without having to hold them in your hand the whole time. This can be helpful, for example, when biking, shopping, working, or traveling. To use it as a phone lanyard, the Multi-Band is combined with the Sminx Phone Adapter (sold separately); bags, cases, clips, and carabiners can also be added within the modular Sminx system.
The strap consists of a braided cord and is water-repellent, washable, and vegan. Metal connectors and cord ends secure the strap. The length can be adjusted between 80 and 130 cm, allowing you to wear the strap across your chest or crossbody, like a bag strap.
The main benefit of the Multi-Band lies in its modular design: Instead of using a separate strap for your smartphone, keys, or small bags, you can swap out and combine the accessories according to your needs. Sminx manufactures its accessories in Berlin and collaborates with a social enterprise as its production workshop.
