The universal stretcher frame professional quality, white is a high-quality painting surface developed for demanding artists. It is covered with a premium linen fabric made from 100% high-quality linen with a weight per unit area of 450 g/m². The fabric is impregnated by hand, which prepares it perfectly for priming; it is primed with three layers of gesso for the best adhesion of the paint. Due to its thickness, the fabric is extremely hard-wearing. It is stapled to the back of the skirting board frame.
Hardwood wedges are included to stretch the canvas over the wedges in the corners of the frame. The 50 cm x 70 cm format is stabilized by an additional central strip and the 80 cm x 100 cm format by a stabilizing cross strip.
