Golden Regular painting gel has an even, pasty consistency just like the Golden acrylic paints and can therefore serve as a money saving way to extend paints and regulate transparency without altering the paint´s consistency. If a small amount of acrylic paint is mixed with this gel, coloured-transparent, thick and textural applications can be made, with the resulting finish having a glossy, semi-glossy or matte appearance depending on which of the three versions of the gel is used (glossy, semi-gloss or matte). The gel that produces the greatest transparency is the "glossy" version. The Golden Regular gel can of course also be used in its pure form as an undercoat or applied on dry paints as a thick glaze.
