      • Description

      The Vlieseline S 80 is a very firm sew-on interlacing that is used in interior decorating for stiffening up pelmets (an ornamental drapery for concealing curtain rods). It can, however, be used in all kinds of creative ways when working with textiles that need to be reinforced so as to make them more stable as, for instance, when making a fabric postcard, collages or handbags. The S 80 can be used on all types of fabrics but comes in especially handy when working with fabrics that cannot be stiffened with iron-on interlacing like terry cloth or brocade.
